Rebecca Naughten lives vicariously through books and films in the wilds of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Between 2003-2009 she undertook (and completed) a PhD in Film Studies – on stardom in contemporary Spanish cinema – but ultimately decided that academia was not for her. In 2011, Rebecca started writing a blog called Nobody Knows Anybody about cinema originating from Spain.

This new incarnation of Nobody Knows Anybody (version 2.0) maintains that long-held interest in Spanish cinema, but also investigates cinema from elsewhere in the world.
